EDUCATION:
Storytellers offer a wide range of services in schools by....
- Developing language, memory and critical thinking skills
- Enriching family literacy
- Involving children and adults in storytelling activities
- Engaging the creative imagination, where all higher learning begins.
MEETINGS:
Monthly meetings take place at the Newburgh Ohio Township Central Library at 6:00pm the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings often include a workshop on subjects related to storytelling, followed by a "story swap" where tellers share a favorite tale.
